BASH 2026 - Saturday, April 25

The BASH book is full of important event information and will be made available in printed form at the event. In addition, it will be shared via email and social media as well as links on the Prep website and BASH auction site prior to the event day.

Hundreds of Prep families, alumni from far and near, BASH volunteers and friends in the community will be able to view the book.

BASH 2026 is partnering with Iridian Group to create a vibrant and professional book. This partnership will ensure that your advertisement will be showcased in a quality publication.  

The advertising opportunities for the BASH 2026 book are as follows:

• $2,000 - Inside front cover; full page color ad (one available)
• $1,500 - Outside back cover; full page color ad (one available) 
• $1,000 - Tab page; full page color ad (eight available) 
• $750 - Full page; color in digital book; b&w in printed book
• $300 - Half page; color in digital book; b&w in printed book

Our design firm will revise a current ad or create a new ad at no additional charge.

Dimensions for a full page color ad or a tab page color ad are 6.5" wide x 8.75" tall. 
Dimensions for a half page color ad are 6.5" wide x 4.25" tall.
Dimensions for a digital banner color ad are 160x120 pixels.

The deadline for submitting advertisements is Friday, April 3.

The first BASH (Building A Scholastic Heritage) was held in the spring of 1971 at the school. The event was chaired by J. Don Ashford and Mrs. John Cleary and supported by a team of 20 volunteers. Approximately $25,000 was raised that evening for the students at Creighton Prep. The event included a silent auction, live auction and dinner. Among the many items sold included a trampoline, a waterbed, a bathing suit, several scholarships and even dinner with the Jesuits.

Since that premier event, BASH has grown into an extraordinary community-wide celebration with 600-800 guests attending each year. Then and now, the tremendous success of BASH would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of volunteers as well as the generous support and in-kind donations from our parents, alumni, friends and businesses. Donor support has also continued to grow nearly every year. 

BASH serves as a cornerstone of our commitment to financial accessibility for 1,000 young men. This year, we provided $6.4 million in financial assistance to over half of our students and families. Bottom line, every dollar raised through BASH ensures that a transformative Prep experience remains within reach for our community.

Please enjoy the following history of Creighton Prep’s BASH. Many of the past executive committee chairs have stayed actively involved and are very much a part of today’s BASH. We hope to see you at BASH 2026 on Saturday, April 25.

Please help us make BASH a great success by purchasing one or more raffle tickets! Your support is critical in helping ensure that we are able to provide assistance to all young men who want to attend Prep, regardless of their financial means.

Beginning January 25, 2026, you can purchase raffle ticket(s) ONLINE with a debit card or via Venmo! 

When you purchase online, your email receipt is proof of your raffle ticket purchase, and a BASH representative will complete your ticket stub(s) and enter them in the drawing.

Ticket pricing: $100 each or 3 for $250, 7 for $500 or 15 for $1000.  

Prizes:
1st place prize: $10,000 cash OR one year full tuition for one student for the 2026-2027 academic year.
2nd place prize: $5,000 cash OR one-half year tuition for one student for the 2026-2027 academic year.
3rd place prize: $1,000 cash OR one parking spot for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Raffle tickets may be purchased with cash, check or a debit card. The drawing will take place on Saturday, April 25 at 8 p.m.

Our students grow into men of faith, scholarship, leadership and service in the Catholic and Jesuit tradition, and they are successful in life because of your investment in their education. You make Prep possible!

Students, families, faculty and staff that buy or sell one (or more) raffle tickets are eligible to win great prizes! More details on the program will be available in January 2026.

When you RAISE THE PADDLE, your donation is 100 percent tax-deductible and will be used directly to support financial assistance.

One student at a time. One learning experience at a time. One graduation at a time. Your RAISE THE PADDLE donation will help to make a Creighton Prep education more affordable.
