
Woodworking Camp
Camp Overview
Woodworking Camp introduces students to basic woodworking skills and craftsmanship through hands-on projects. Campers will learn how to safely use tools, follow plans and create finished pieces while building confidence, creativity and problem-solving skills. Creighton Prep high school students will be part of the camp experience, assisting with instruction, helping coach activities and building positive relationships with campers.
What Campers Will Do
- Learn basic woodworking techniques and safety practices
- Measure, cut, assemble and finish simple projects
- Develop craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Complete hands-on projects to take home
Camp Sessions
- Session 1: Grades 3rd–5th | June 8–12 | 1:00–3:30 p.m. | Coed | $140
- Session 2: Grades 3rd–5th | June 22–25 | 1:00–3:30 p.m. | Coed | $135
Camper Check-In Location
- Heider Center Lobby (East Parking Lot)
Campers Should Bring
- Comfortable clothing suitable for workshop activities
