“Rising grade” refers to the grade your child will be entering in Fall 2026. For example, a rising 3rd grader is a student who will start 3rd grade in Fall 2026.

Yes. Camps are organized by week and by session: Morning (9:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.) and afternoon (1:00–3:30 p.m.). Families may register for multiple camps—just make sure the camps do not overlap. If your child is registered for both a morning and an afternoon camp on the same day, lunch will be provided free of charge by Creighton Prep.

The earlier the better—some of our most popular camps can fill up fast, i.e. Robotics, Drone, and Basketball. Registration stays open until the morning of the second day of camp.

Full refunds can be issued but must be requested by May 1. After May 1, refunds can only be given in the form of camp credits that can be used this summer or in future summers.

Supervision is provided by a combination of adult camp staff (coaches/teachers) and trained student leaders. For classroom-style camps, we aim to keep groups small—around a 15:1 student-to-teacher ratio, with additional TAs supporting instruction.

Camps are led by Creighton Prep varsity head coaches, assistants and teachers. Current Prep players and students also assist with camp activities.

Sports camps are divided by rising grade level, skill level, and—when camps are coed—by sex. Our goal is to place athletes in the best group for their age and ability so they are challenged appropriately and can grow.

If your child is sick prior to camp, it is best that they stay home. If a camper becomes ill during camp, a parent/guardian will be contacted using the phone number provided during registration.

Camp staff do not administer medications, except for emergency medications such as inhalers or EpiPens. Please inform camp staff at check-in on the first day of camp if your child has emergency medication.

Yes. All coaches and teachers are Safe Environment certified through the Archdiocese of Omaha, which includes a required background check.

Doors will open and check-in will begin 30 minutes before the start of each camp session (9 a.m. for morning camps and 12:30 p.m. for afternoon camps). Please note: Creighton Prep is not responsible for campers after camp has concluded. Parents/guardians must make appropriate arrangements for on-time pick up.

Each camp has a specific drop-off and pick-up location. Indoor camps will use the east side Heider Center entrance, and outdoor camps will use the west side of campus. Please see here for more details. Families will also receive an email a few days before the start of each camp with specific drop-off and pick-up instructions for that camp. Check-in will begin 30 minutes prior to the start of camp.

All camps (except Cross Country Camp) are held at Creighton Preparatory School (7400 Western Ave). Each camp uses the most appropriate space on campus, and the specific location will be included in the email sent a few days before camp begins.

If your child is registered for both a morning and afternoon camp, lunch will be provided free of charge by Creighton Prep. However, if your child prefers their own food, they are welcome to bring lunch from home.

Yes. Campers may bring a sack lunch, but refrigeration is not available. Lunches can be kept in the camper’s personal bag or stored at the camp desk in the Heider Center lobby.

Please send your child with a water bottle, athletic shoes, and gym/athletic clothes. For outdoor camps, bring cleats and tennis shoes (so campers can adjust if weather requires moving indoors). Please do not bring money or personal sports equipment—with the exception of soccer, where campers should bring their own ball. A detailed email will be sent a few days before camp begins with any camp-specific items to bring.

We prefer that students do not bring cell phones to camp to prevent loss or damage. If a student does bring a phone, it should remain stowed away and only be used in the event of an emergency to contact parents or guardians.

We do not offer refunds for missed days of camp. Many families still choose to register knowing their child may miss a day. Discounted or prorated rates are not offered.

Please email cpcamps@creightonprep.org in advance or inform the Creighton Prep camp directors at check-in on the first day of camp.

Outdoor camps will move indoors when possible and continue as scheduled. If changes are needed, families will be notified. On days when weather may be a factor, it’s important campers bring tennis shoes they can wear indoors.
