Creighton Prep Names Jackie Schulte as Head of School

Creighton Preparatory School is pleased to announce Mrs. Jackie Schulte as its permanent Head of School following a competitive national search that drew candidates from across Nebraska, the Jesuit Schools Network and beyond. Schulte, who has served in the role on an interim basis since June, was the unanimous recommendation of the school's search committee after what school leadership described as a thoughtful and thorough selection process.

Schulte is a familiar face to the Prep community. With 23 years in education, including 19 years of dedicated service to Creighton Prep, she has been a critical voice in shaping the institution. She joined the school as a classroom teacher, most recently teaching World History, and quickly earned the respect of students, families and colleagues for her academic rigor, warmth and unwavering commitment to Prep's Ignatian mission.

As Dean of Faculty Formation, Schulte served as the driving force behind the professional and spiritual development of Prep's faculty and staff, overseeing new hire onboarding, mentoring and the school's three-year Ignatian formation program for new employees. She also guided the school through multiple accreditations with Cognia and sponsorship reviews with the Midwest Province.

Her influence extends beyond Omaha as well. Schulte is a recognized thought leader within the national Jesuit Schools Network, having been recruited by the Midwest Province to lead regional retreats connecting educators from across the country to their shared Ignatian mission.

Schulte expressed gratitude and enthusiasm for the role. "I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve a community I know and love," she said. "We have a strong foundation and a clear mission, and I look forward to continuing the work of academic excellence and whole person formation that defines Creighton Prep."
