ONLINE STUDENT RESOURCES

Creighton Prep offers three online resources that allow you to track your son's academic performance, homework and course planning. Access to these sites requires separate logins with separate usernames and passwords. The school also has an emergency notification service to provide timely information to you through text, email and phone.

Think of PowerSchool as a summary of what has happened and Canvas and Naviance Student as looks forward in your son's life at Prep and beyond to college.

CANVAS

View assignments such as homework, tests and long-range projects.
Follow course links with information such as syllabi, daily agendas, readings and notes.
Note that assignment and course grades are official in PowerSchool only and what you may see in Canvas may not always reflect the actual grade.

Parents look for the "Parent of a Canvas User?" link on the login page. You will need your son's username and a special pairing code from your son's account to register.

ACCESS CANVAS

PowerSchool

Access current course grades and specific assignment grades and comments.
Review attendance history including a summary of reasons for absences.
Check discipline history including demerit and Jug totals and obligations still owed.

Freshman and transfer parents will receive an email in August with an access code for their son's account. Until that time, your son can provide access through his school account.

SCHOOL COMMUNICATION

Emergency Notifications

Creighton Prep uses the SchoolMessenger service to notify families about rare events such as a weather-related school closure or a schedule change that results in an early dismissal. These notifications take place through phone calls, emails and text messages.

If you are a new user, opt in for text messages by texting "yes" to 68453.

THE PREPPED PARENT

The Prepped Parent is Prep's weekly e-newsletter for parents. Sent on Fridays, the e-mail highlights upcoming school activities, student accomplishments, and school news.
