2021 Freshman Summer Sports & Enrichment Camps 

Welcome to Creighton Prep's Freshman Summer Camps. We are excited to host incoming freshmen on our campus this summer at a variety of athletic and robotics camps. Below you can take a look at the camp description list below with dates, times, and other details.

Once you have chosen the camps, click Register Now to begin the process. You can sign up for multiple camps on one registration form and pay using a credit card at the end of the process. Contact your coach for questions about financial assistance.

CAMP DESCRIPTIONS

Baseball Freshmen Session 1

Two days of skill development activities, guest coaches, and even some friendly competition.

Staff
Creighton Prep’s baseball coaching staff and players.

Details
  • Grade Level: Incoming Freshmen, boys only
  • Dates/Times: June 14-15, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Cost: $120 per session (includes a t-shirt)
  • Optional Lunch: $10 additional for two days of food and drink. Bring a sack lunch and drink if you don't choose this option.

Basketball Academy Freshmen

The coaching staff at Creighton Prep invites you to the Creighton Prep Basketball Academy. We will be spending six nights working on the fundamentals of the game as well as live competition. We will be teaching form shooting, ball-handling, footwork, post play, defense, team offense, team defense and other fundamentals of the game. This is a great introduction to incoming freshmen who have an interest in playing basketball at Prep.

Staff
The staff includes Josh Luedtke, the varsity coach, and basketball staff. Also, current and former players will be on hand to help assist the camp and work with the future players.

Basketball Camp Freshmen

At our camps, we emphasize the importance of the skills and fundamentals of basketball to all campers. The camp will allow each camper to improve his overall game and give him the groundwork to improve his game throughout the summer. Our campers will drill and compete within their age groups in various skill competitions such as dribbling, passing, rebounding, shooting and defense. Beyond individual skill development, we emphasize the importance of teamwork, getting good grades and sportsmanship.

Cross Country Freshmen

Teach cross country running and training basics

Freshman Football Camp

This camp is for any registered incoming freshman and is open to all experience levels. All freshmen who plan on playing football in the fall are encouraged to attend.

  • Learn terms, plays and techniques used by the Creighton Prep varsity football team.
  • Coached by the Prep coaching staff.
  • Learn Prep's offense and defense.
  • Meet other incoming freshmen from all over the city.
  • Practice and develop football-specific skills and concepts.

This is your chance to meet the robotics team, work on a project, and find out what goes on in the ToMorrow Labs.

  • Location: Creighton Prep Wrestling Room. Park on the east side of the school and enter through the gym doors on the north end. There will be signs to lead you to the room from there.
  • What to Bring: Wrestling shoes, athletic shorts, and t-shirt
