SHADOW DAYS 2020-2021


The best way to learn if Creighton Prep is right for you is to experience Prep in person. Any current 7th or 8th-grade student is invited to spend the day shadowing a current Creighton Prep student. See what a day in the life of a Junior Jay entails, from start to finish -- and lunch is on us! 

Event Details

  • Starts at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m.

  • Wear a mask. Bring a book, pen and notebook. 

  • Enter at the Sullivan Center entrance on the west side of the school accompanied by a parent at 7:45 a.m. 

  • Check into the High School Office and meet your ambassador for the day. 

  • Lunch will be provided. 

  • Parents are asked to pick up their son at this same location at 2 p.m.


  • Look at the calendars below to find a date that works for you and register. 
    • Week of February 8-12
      • On Wednesday, Feb. 10 there is an 8:35 a.m Late Start. Shadows should arrive at 8:20 a.m. that morning.
    • Week of February 15-18 - Prep has no school Friday, February 19
      • On Wednesday, Feb. 17 there will be a Formal Dress Day for our Ash Wednesday Mass. All students wear a dress shirt and tie along with the usual dress code. 
    • Week of February 22-26
      • On Thursday, Feb. 25 there is a 9:35 a.m Late Start. Shadows should arrive at 9:20 a.m. that morning. 
    • Week of March 1-5
    • Week of March 8-12
      • Prep is on Spring Break
    • Week of March 15-19
    • Week of March 22-25
      • On Wednesday, Mar. 24 there is an 8:35 a.m Late Start. Shadows should arrive at 8:20 a.m. that morning.
      • Friday, March 26 there is no school.
    • Week of March 29-31
      • Thursday and Friday, April 1-2 Prep is on Easter break.
  • Only ten students are allowed to shadow each day. 

  • You must register two days before your chosen shadow day.

COVID Preparation

  • All guests, students and faculty are required to wear a mask at Prep, except when eating lunch, and are expected to follow Prep's safe distance protocols.

  • If you have a fever of 100 or higher, live with someone in quarantine, or have been asked to quarantine, please stay home.
