Course Information:

The summer math advancement program allows Prep students the opportunity to advance in the Creighton Prep math program by completing a summer course. The following courses will be offered through the University of Nebraska High School (UNHS) with a Creighton Prep teacher serving as a proctor and tutor for the course.

Honors Geometry
Algebra II
Precalculus

One full year of any subject is covered by two courses at UNHS (Geometry 1 and 2, for example) over a little as ten weeks.

All courses require permission of the current math teacher or department chair prior to completing this form.

Because of the accelerated and rigorous nature of these courses, students must stay on pace and attend any required meetings with the teacher.

These summer advancement courses do not count toward a student's graduation requirements or GPA, but will allow the student to advance a level in math with the recommendation of his summer teacher after completing the course.

Tuition is $600 and is paid to Creighton Prep through the family FACTS account. Creighton Prep will handle registration through UNHS for the student. Contact Ms. Debbie Novotny in the business office with financial questions or concerns.
