PRAYER AND Liturgies
Campus Ministry is responsible for planning liturgies and prayer services for the student body, which take place during the community period. Each year, students participate in several Ignatian Prayer Services, which incorporate different elements of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Students also participate in a Class Mass each semester in addition to several All School Masses during the school year. An optional Mass is also celebrated before school at 7:10am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the Skinner chapel.
Students in the Campus Ministry Advisory Board (CMAB) lead our community in morning prayer each day and our afternoon Prayer for Generosity before the last period of the day. Students in CMAB also meet regularly to plan student liturgies and prayer services. Students also act as Lectors, EMHC's, Greeters, and Altar Servers for Prep liturgies. We are also blessed to have a Liturgical Band and the Prep Choir to lead us in song at our liturgies.
Reconciliation is offered through periodic communal reconciliation services during Community Period, on retreats, and by appointment.
The Skinner Chapel is available throughout the day for classroom prayer and private prayer for students, faculty, staff and parents.
