MOM PROM - Sunday, February 16

This 41st annual event is a Creighton Prep tradition that allows Prep mothers/mother figures and sons to share a fun evening together that includes dinner, a raffle, Grub Grab Tree and dancing. All funds raised at this event support post prom and all of the activities associated with it (games, inflatables, food trucks, a hypnotist, etc.). All Prep mothers/mother figures and sons are encouraged to attend.

The event is also a great opportunity to meet others in the Prep community and, if a mom is not able to attend that evening, the son is welcome to bring a sister, aunt, grandmother, bonus mom or sit with a friend and his mom.

Event Details

• Sunday, February 16
• The Grand Ballroom at CHI Health Center (455 N. 10th Street)
• Theme: "Put Some Prep In Your Step"
• Attire: "PREPresent" with your best blue and white attire. Suggestions for boys include khaki or navy pants, quarter-zips, polos and CP crewnecks. Suggestions for moms include dress pants or dark jeans, sweaters and your favorite classic CP top. Blue dresses work, too. If you want to dress up, do it! If you are more comfortable staying casual, do it!
  • For the latest blue and white Prep apparel for women, visit the Jay Mart in the Smith Atrium from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on school days or online at cpjaymart.com.
• 5 p.m. social hour
• 6 p.m. dinner
• 7 p.m. dancing
• $40 per person
• The deadline to register is Monday, February 10.

Registration Details

• NEW THIS YEAR, we ask that you register individually. Please DO NOT register for other moms and sons, only register for you and your son(s).
• The ideal number per table is 10 guests. 
• If you make arrangements to sit with other moms and sons, there will be a text box on the registration form for you to list with whom you would like to be seated.  
• If it's just you and your son attending, we will make sure you both have a fun seat at a table with his classmates. 
• If you and your son have arrangements with a few other families but don't have a full table of 10, we will round out your table with his classmates. 

Unsure About Registering Due to a Financial Concern?

• If you are unsure about registering you and your son for this event due to a financial concern, please email our Student Support Specialist Br. Pat Douglas, SJ '94 or call him at (402) 393-1190 Ext. 3307. Provide him with your name, email address, your son's name and his class year, and Br. Douglas will work with the Advancement team to get you both registered.

Gift Cards Needed for Grub Grab Tree

• The Grub Grab Tree is a takeout food/drive thru lover’s dream! And whose son doesn’t already stop at a drive thru on their way home from school? At the event and for $10 a chance, you (or your son) can choose a wrapped gift card from the Grub Grab Tree that could be worth $5, $10, $15, $20 or even $50.
• Please consider donating a gift card or donating money and we will buy the gift card for you! Our goal is to collect at least 400 gift cards for the Grub Grab Tree.

Items Needed for Raffle

• The raffle will include 15 items/packages (valued at $50 and above) that will appeal to both moms and sons.

Purchase Raffle Tickets

• Using the form below, purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win great prizes.
• Tickets prices are one for $5, five for $20, 10 for $40, 15 for $60, 20 for $80, and 25 for $100.
• If you are unable to attend, you can still purchase raffle tickets, and a Mom Prom co-chair will contact you to coordinate the logistics of getting your ticket(s) entered in the raffle.
• If you purchase raffle tickets before the event, your tickets will be at the registration table with your name tag.
• If you do not purchase raffle tickets before the event, you can purchase them with cash or Venmo that evening.
