grandparents day 

We look forward to seeing all those who have registered to attend Grandparents Day on Wednesday, November 12, from 3:30-5 p.m. in the Sullivan Center! Please review the details below to help the event run smoothly:

With over 800 guests registered, we’re looking forward to a fantastic crowd! We encourage families to carpool, if possible.

1. Arrival: Please plan to arrive after 3:10 p.m. to avoid dismissal traffic.

2. Parking:

•  Valet parking will be available in both east and west lots.
• If you prefer to self-park, you may use any open space.
• Greeters at both entrances will direct you to the Sullivan Center. Elevator access is available.

3. Traffic Notice: Western Avenue (75th–76th Streets) is closed for utility work. Please refer to the map for adjusted traffic flow.

4. Check-in: Pick up your name tags at either registration table — in the Smith Atrium (east side) or the Sullivan Center mezzanine (west side).

5. Program:

• Enjoy cookies and refreshments upon arrival (no assigned seating).
• The program begins at 3:45 p.m., followed by time to tour the building with your grandson(s). Encourage them to show you a few of their favorite spots!

6. Accessibility:

• To access the main floor, use the elevator near the Jay Mart.
• To reach the upper floor (Library and English/World Language), use the elevator near the Dean’s Office.
