Class of Metro Results 2024

Prep finishes 3rd out of 12 teams in the Meet. Medalists for the Seniors were Ignatius Vogel 8th, Colton Nelson 13th, and Gabe Vaughan 15th.  For the juniors Hylan Caouette and Mark Thompson tied for 8th place and Sam Clatterbuck finished 12th. Sophomores won the sophomore race led by Aaron Robles 2nd place, Benny Youell th, and John Becker 8th. In the freshman race Leveret Stricklett finished 3rd.  Aaron Robles had the fastest time for Prep at 17:34.

Varsity finished 1st out of 18 teams. Medalists for Prep were Dennis Chapman 1st, Eli Jones 5th, Jacob Finney 10th, and Aidan McGarry 12th.

Junior Varsity finished 2nd out of 17 teams. Junior Varsity Medalists were Ignatius Vogel 6th, John Becker, 12th, Will Young 14th, and Benny Youell 15th.

Named to the all-Metro Academic Team were Dennis Chapman, Eli Jones, Jacob Finney, Jack Goltl, Owen Jensen, Michael Sauer, and Andrew Sauer.  

Coach Bob Tillman was named Metro Conference Boys Cross Country Coach of the Year by a vote of the Metro Conference coaches.

Dennis Chapman finishes in 3rd place out of 422 runners in a time of 15:24 establishing a new Creighton Prep 5K school record. Jacob Finney finished 7th and Eli Jones 10th. Jacob's 15:56 is the 2nd fastest ever recorded by a Prep runner on the course and Eli's is the 6th fastest by a Prep runner on the course. Benny Youell's time of 18:35 was the fastest ever run by a Prep freshman on the Yankton Trail course.

Freshman Medalists--Jonah Alagaban 2nd, Cole Bechtold 3rd, Philip Rogers 4th, Cal Ehlers 6th, Paul Trainer 7th, Porter Bryant 8th, Sean Manning 9th, Charles Petro 10th, Isaac Kuskie 12, and Alex O'Connell 15th.

Prep finishes 1st  out of 20 teams. Medalists in "A" Race are Dennis Chapman 1st, Jacob Finney 7th, Eli Jones 11th, Owen Jensen 12th, Andrew Sauer 13th, and Michael Sauer 14th.  Dennis Chapman's 15:46 is the fastest time ever run by a Prep runner on the Boys Town course. Jacob Finney's 16:48 is the third fastest. 

"B" Race medalist was Jonah Alagaban in 12th place. 

"C" Race medalist was Ethan Mabbitt in 2nd place.

platte river rumble Results 2023

In the inaugural Platte River Rumble held at Mahoney State Park the varsity finished 1st out of 19 teams. Varsity Medalists were Dennis Chapman 3rd place,  Jacob Finney 9th. Dennis broke his own school record for the 5K set last week with a time of 15:08 on the Mahoney State Park Course.  Varsity results click here.

Rim Rock Classic Results 2023

Click here for complete results. Prep finished 3rd out of 45 teams in the Gold Varsity Division. This was the highes finish by a Prep team in this meet in the last 30 years. Senior Denny Chapman ran the fastest time (15:17) by a Prep runner on the Rim Rock Farm course to earn the silver medal in the race. The other medalist for Creighton Prep in the race was senior Jacob Finney 20th, In the Gold Junior Varsity Division Prep finished 2nd behind a very strong and deep Cheyenne Mountain team from Denver despite placing 6 runners in the top 25: Jack Goltl 3rd, Will Young 6th, Charlie Nebel 8th, Benny Youell 18th, Seamus Sully 22nd, and John Becker 25th. The C-team comprised of all seniors won the C-Race convincingly with five runners placing within the top 15: Simon Goitom 5th, Connor Combs 7th, Theo Oswald 8th, Zach Nanfito 9th, and Owen Surdell 15th.

The Junior Varsity team placed 1st  out of 9 teams. Medalists for Prep were Jack Goltl 1st, Charlie Nebel 2nd, Will Young 3rd, Ignatius Vogel 4th, RJ Carney 7th, John Becker 9th, Benny Youell 10th, Paul Youell 14th, and Hylan Caouette 15th.

Prep finishes 1st out of 7 teams. Jack Goltl led the team with a first place finish. Other medalists for Prep were Will Young 3rd, Benny Youell 8th, sRJ Carney 9th, Charles Nebel 10th, and John Becker 11th. A special congratulations to all 51 Prep runners who ran PR's in their final meet of the year. Great finish guys!

District Champions! Prep finishes 1st out of 8 teams at Meadowlark Hills Golf Course, Kearney  On to state October 20.
