8th Grade scholarship & entrance exam

exam DETAILS

• The test takes approximately 3-3.5 hours
  • 8:00 - 11:30 a.m.
• Drop off and pick up on the west side of campus at the Sullivan Center entrance (same side as the bell tower)
• Two #2 pencils will be provided, no calculators are allowed
• Results will be mailed with admissions decisions the week of February 9, 2026

APPLICATION PROCESS

In order to complete your admissions process, please complete the steps below prior to the each stated deadline. 

1. Completing the 8th Grade Scholarship and Entrance Exam is the first step of the admissions process. Register below for your son to take it at Prep on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Taking the test on January 10 makes your son eligible to receive one of 30 available scholarships from Prep, based on his exam score.

2. Next, complete your online application. Your confirmation email 8th Grade Scholarship and Entrance Exam will also have the link. This must be completed by Friday, January 23, 2026.

3. After completing the 8th Grade Scholarship and Entrance Exam, your son will bring home a Recommendation and Release of Records form. Sign this form and give it to your son’s current school to complete. Encourage the school to return it with the coinciding materials by Friday, January 23, 2026. His school will be instructed to return the form along with the following required academic information to Creighton Prep:

• 7th grade grades
• 8th grade first semester grades
• Any standardized tests 
• Any disciplinary records, if applicable

4. If you are interested in Income-Adjusted Tuition, the application is available now. Submit your application before Friday, January 16, 2026. More information can be found on our Tuition page.

Applicants will be notified of admission during the week of February 9, 2026.
