6TH AND 7th Grade prE-ENTRANCE exam

The 6th and 7th Grade Pre-Entrance Exam is a great way to get practice for the 8th Grade Scholarship & Entrance Exam. Taking advantage of this practice opportunity can help ease test anxiety and give you an idea of what to expect when you take the 8th grade exam as an applicant - especially when 30 scholarships are on the line!

EXAM DETAILS

  • Saturday, January 24, 2026
    • The exam begins at 8:00 A.M. and typically finished by 12 P.M.
  • Drop off and pick up on the west side of campus at the Sullivan Center entrance (same side as the bell tower)
  • Two #2 pencils will be provided
  • Results will be mailed mid-March
  • There is no cost associated with this pre-entrance exam
  • The test is the High School Placement Test (HSPT)

IEP/504 Plans: Since this is a practice test, there is no extended time available, as well as no make-up dates for this exam. If you have questions about extended time, IEP or 504 plans, please connect with the Director of our Magis program, Bridget Cannon-Hale.
