Creighton Prep seeks any young man of promise interested in a Christian, value-based education. In order to complete your son’s admissions process, you'll follow the steps below. Hang tight as we update these materials and links for you!

1. Save the date for the 8th Grade Scholarship & Entrance Exam on Saturday, January 14, 2023. This is the first step to applying to Prep. Registration coming soon.

2. Complete our online application. The link will be provided in the confirmation email of your test sign up.

3. On testing day, your son will receive a Recommendation Form & Release of Records (“Blue Form”). His school will receive instructions to return the form along with the following required academic information to Creighton Prep:

  • 7th grade grades
  • 8th grade first semester grades
  • Any standardized tests 

4. If you are interested in Income-Adjusted Tuition, the application will be available November 7, 2023. Contact Jacqui Warren in our Business Office for more information. 

Applicants will be notified of admission after Steps #1-3 are completed.

Our 6th and 7th Grade Pre-Entrance Exam will be on Saturday, January 28, 2023. This optional test is a great way to practice for the 8th Grade Scholarship & Entrance Exam that the applicant will take during his 8th grade year.

Contact us if you'd like to learn more about the HSPT that is used during your son’s 8th grade year for acceptance and class placement, or if you'd like some practice materials.

to Transfer to Prep from Your Current High School

In order to complete your admissions process, please complete the steps below prior to the each stated deadline.

1. Contact our Admissions Team to discuss the process.

  • The student must have As, Bs or Cs to be considered for admission.
  • The student must be in good standing with his current school both academically and in regards to discipline.

2. The link to our online application will then be emailed to you.

3. A recommendation form will be emailed to you once your application has been submitted. This recommendation will need to be completed by your son’s current school. The school must also send us the following:

  • Unofficial transcript
  • Any standardized tests
  • Completed Recommendation Form

4. If you are interested in Income-Adjusted Tuition, contact Jacqui Warren in our Business Office for more information after you've begun the Admissions process. 

Applicants will be notified of admission on a case by case situation.

8th grade scholarship & entrance exam

Taking the 8th Grade Scholarship and Entrance Exam is your first step to joining the Creighton Prep community. Additionally, when you take the test at Prep, you qualify to earn one of 30 scholarships - including $7,500 tuition for four years.



This is a great opportunity for students to practice for the 8th Grade Scholarship & Entrance Exam you'll have to take during your 8th grade year as part of the admissions process.
