Creighton Prep Timeline and Hiring Process

Creighton Preparatory School has developed a process and timeline for identifying and hiring its next principal. 

A search committee has been formed to: 

  1. Review previous community feedback for the principal position.
  2. Utilize Creighton Prep’s networks to identify high-quality candidates.
  3. Recruit high quality candidates and assist in identifying finalists.

2025-2026 Principal Search Timeline

  • Review community feedback (Early-November)
    Review quantitative and qualitative feedback from faculty, staff, parents, and alumni collected within the three years through surveys and listening sessions.
     
  • Publish job opportunity and prospectus (November)
    Publish job opportunity and prospectus online and through talent search portals.
     
  • Recruit and accept applications (December-January)
    Identify and recruit qualified candidates from a variety of networks including Omaha-area schools, the Jesuit Schools Network and schools nationwide. Engage in a preliminary review of resumes and applications as they are submitted.
     
  • Interviews and selection (February-April)
    Select semi-finalists from the pool of qualified candidates in February. Select finalists in March and complete all interviews in March. By April 1, Creighton Prep will select its next principal.
